Why We Love Item Upgrading (And You Should Too!)

The item upgrade lets players boost the gear rating of an item up to 700 points and add a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you decide to take them to the Kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded to benefit from their unique stats (like a perfectly made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) while others like weapons don't change much post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats, such as the chance to crit, attack damage, PvE and PvP damage. Weapons also come with an unchanging bonus that increases the damage they deal per second. In addition there are many weapons with a set bonus that activates when three or more of the same weapon are equipped on a unit. This bonus could be more than the damage a weapon upgrade can do on its own.

A weapon's upgrade costs depend on the quality of the weapon and its current level. For example the weapon with a +2 rating will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while an upgrade of +3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a gun will increase until it requires more Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons can also change the stats of the base. While this is generally a good thing but it can also have negative consequences too. Upgrades can render items unusable, unless you are extremely lucky.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to boost their effectiveness. For example, if you upgrade chests or helms, this will increase its defense base while a belt and gloves will enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it can sometimes reduce its value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain when upgrading along with the relative values of those stats. This means that a weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will strike three times less, since it is an absolute number.

A weapon can also be rerolled using the green button that has circling arrows in the menu for items. This will reroll the item and alter its stats but it won't reset the weapon's level nor tie it to the account status.

item upgrader  can make all the difference to your survival. Certain sets can offer massive improvements in the resistance to poison, curses fire, magic, and other. This can make it easier to traverse difficult terrains. Generally speaking, the more defense your character has the more value you will get from each point of health you possess, so it's important to improve your armor as much as possible.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game and in order to unlock each one you have to complete an additional quest that involves the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main quest and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

The amount of material needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. You'll require anything between three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the initial armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for instance can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to keep up in frigid conditions with a large group of adversaries. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other hand, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense, which means you're able to withstand a rout with friends.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll have to concentrate on upgrading it for physical power if you're Warrior or Spell Power when you're Mage. It's also a good idea to save your armor upgrades for the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you wear for the final boss battle and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

You can also get some advantages to your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll generally want to save these upgrades for the weapon that you'll use to win the game. For instance the Longsword or Battleaxe. However, it's beneficial to have some upgrades to the chest armor and helmets to allow you to get around a few monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquid substances that, when consumed, provide the user with the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five types of potions with different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to enhance their level of effectiveness. In addition the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding glowstone dust or redstone to them.

Potion upgrades require a certain amount of XP. This can be obtained by making them on a crafting table or by placing them in the Alchemist chest. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion used and the item's Rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This opens a GUI in which you can select the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll produce when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a time and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP count.

Once a potion is upgraded, it will not degrade in the event that you use it again or break the bottle in which it is stored. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change its name.

There were a few changes to potion mechanics in version 1.7.2. Splash potions, for instance, now have a duration zero, not the 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the item hover display. The table for potion is now crafted from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. Additionally, using a potentio on a full cauldron, it drains the liquid and refills the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions that are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone is also added to lingering potions to enhance their effects. The potion table is now arranged more like the Java Edition, and new potions were added, such as the potion of leaping, the potion of decomposition, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket is an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece jewelry. It can also refer to an object or ornament that serves a purpose but isn't particularly significant such as a tiny thimble. In some cultures, a trinket is used to signify friendship or affection, especially between family members.

Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons and armor, as well as potions. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. In contrast to other upgrades for items, trinkets can be traded out at any time without losing their stats.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of each zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are purchased using tokens, gold or fragments of a rare trinket.

The upgrade of a trinket can be an affordable alternative to buying an entirely new one. A player can upgrade a trinket with as little 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl of the previous one, and will include an additional upgrade bonus of 1.

Once the old Trinkets have become not usable they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players which makes them an attractive alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are upgraded first then their secondary gear and other equipment that they won't be replacing anytime soon (such as an earring or a cloak). Players should also take into consideration their class's preferred stats when selecting the items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for tank players, then they should upgrade their chest, helm and shoulders.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher level once they're no longer needed, and the new trinket will have an additional 1% upgrade bonus. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it can be saved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still cheaper than buying a new one.
